Privacy Policy

A clear explanation of how Pihint Technology handles information across our website, services, communications, and payments.

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. Scope and commitment

Pihint Technology provides software, websites, digital marketing, CRM and lead-management tools, WhatsApp and email automation, consulting, content, affiliate services, and related business technology services. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit pihint.com, contact us, request a demo, submit a form, use a Pihint service, participate in our affiliate programme, or otherwise interact with us.

We aim to use information responsibly and only for legitimate business purposes. This policy is intended to be clear and practical, but it does not replace a contract, product order, data-processing agreement, or other written terms that may apply to a specific customer relationship. Where a signed agreement says something different about a particular service, that agreement will govern to the extent of the difference.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide may include your name, business name, job title, email address, telephone number, location, enquiry details, project requirements, billing details, support requests, marketing preferences, affiliate application information, and any files or content you choose to send us. If you create or use a Pihint product account, we may also process account credentials, authorised-user details, configuration choices, activity records, and service communications.

We also collect limited technical and usage information automatically. This may include IP address, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, referring source, cookie preferences, timestamps, interactions with forms, emails, product previews, and diagnostic logs. We use this information to operate, secure, improve, and understand our website and services.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to answer enquiries; prepare proposals; deliver, support, maintain, and improve services; manage accounts and subscriptions; process payments; send requested information; protect against fraud, misuse, and security incidents; measure website and campaign performance; administer the affiliate programme; and meet legal, accounting, tax, and record-keeping obligations.

Where you have requested marketing communications or where permitted by applicable law, we may send relevant updates about Pihint services, guides, events, or offers. You can opt out of promotional email at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Operational communications such as security notices, billing messages, service updates, or replies to active requests may still be sent when necessary.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to remember preferences, maintain security, understand aggregate traffic, measure campaigns, and improve the experience. Cookies may be set by Pihint or by service providers acting on our behalf, such as analytics, communications, hosting, or payment providers.

You can usually manage cookies through your browser settings. Restricting cookies may affect the availability or performance of some website features. We do not use cookies to intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we do not sell personal information in exchange for money.

5. Customer data and Pihint products

When a business customer uses Pihint CRM, lead management, email automation, WhatsApp automation, or a related service, that customer may upload or collect information about its own prospects, customers, employees, or users. In that context, the customer is generally responsible for deciding why and how that information is used, obtaining appropriate notices or permissions, and ensuring its campaigns and workflows comply with applicable law.

Pihint processes such customer data only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the contracted service, and in line with documented instructions and applicable agreements. Customers should not submit unnecessary sensitive information to a service. If you are an individual whose information was supplied by one of our business customers, please contact that business first; we will support reasonable requests through the applicable customer relationship.

6. Payments, billing, and subscriptions

Payments may be processed through trusted payment providers such as Razorpay. Pihint does not intentionally store full card, UPI, or bank authentication details on its website. Payment providers process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies. We retain transaction, order, invoice, payment-reference, plan, and support information needed for account administration, reconciliation, fraud prevention, and legal record keeping.

Subscription pricing, plan selection, and payment amounts are verified on our server before payment checkout is initiated. A payment transaction does not give Pihint access to your financial credentials. Questions about cancellation, eligibility, reversals, or refunds are addressed in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and any applicable service order.

7. How we share information

We may share information with carefully selected service providers that help us host systems, provide cloud infrastructure, process payments, deliver communications, analyse performance, protect security, or provide professional services. These providers are permitted to use information only as necessary to perform services for us or as required by law.

We may also disclose information where necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, investigate misuse, protect the rights, safety, or security of Pihint, our customers, or others, or in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction. We do not rent or sell personal information to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing.

8. Security and retention

We use reasonable organisational, technical, and administrative safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorised access, alteration, loss, or disclosure. These include access controls, authenticated administration, server-side payment handling, secure transport where available, monitoring, and limiting access to people and providers who need it. No internet service, email, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use care when sending information.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, to provide services, resolve disputes, maintain business records, satisfy legal obligations, and protect our rights. Retention periods vary by data type, service relationship, contract, and legal requirement. We may securely delete, anonymise, or aggregate information when it is no longer needed.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law and the context of our relationship, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal data we hold about you; withdraw consent where processing depends on consent; object to certain marketing; or ask us to update your communication preferences. We may ask for verification before acting on a request and may retain limited information where needed for legal, security, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Pihint operates from India and handles digital information in accordance with applicable requirements. We will consider privacy requests in good faith and in line with applicable law, including relevant Indian data-protection requirements. Requests concerning data controlled by a Pihint business customer should normally be directed to that customer.

10. Children, international transfers, and links

Our services are designed for businesses and professional users and are not directed to children. Do not provide personal information about a child unless you are authorised to do so and the disclosure is appropriate under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, please contact us so we can review the matter.

Pihint may use service providers or infrastructure located in India or other jurisdictions. Information may therefore be processed outside your state or country, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law. Our website may link to third-party sites or services; their content, privacy practices, and security are governed by their own policies, not this one.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, legal requirements, or business practices change. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the last-updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through a suitable notice, email, or product message where appropriate.

For privacy questions, requests, or concerns, please use the Contact Us page and clearly state that your request relates to privacy. Please do not send passwords, payment credentials, government identification, or other unnecessary sensitive information through an unencrypted contact form.

Questions or requests?

If you have a question about this policy, your account, a payment, a privacy request, or a service engagement, please contact Pihint Technology through our Contact Us page. We may need enough information to verify the request and protect the security of the relevant account or transaction.
